Wher can I shop for kitchen utensils and bed linens?
In Ikea you can find kitchen utensils, bed linens, and everything you willl need for your room. You can get there by bus, number 601 from Livensa Living Porto Boavista will take you there in 45 minutes.
Are towels and bed linens included?
Towels and bed linens are not included, but, in the event you hire the cleaning service, we will provide you with both. If you decide upon not booking this service, you must bring your own things.
What does “all inclusive” mean?
The monthly fee includes all bills (electricity, gas, water, wifi, AC and heating), access to all common areas, participation in all Community Life activities within the building. AtLivensa Living Lisboa Cidade Universitária, parking for cars and motorcycles, laundromat, and cleaning service are not included in the price.

Where can I surf?
A lot of our residents like to surf at the Praia de Matosinhos, just half an hour away by bus. If you want to take a look into this sport, we have special discounts with a few companies! Ask the staff for more information!
Where can I park my car?
To use the parking you need to fill a form at the reception and indicate the required dates.
How far is the residence from my University?

Yes, close to Livensa Living Porto Boavista there are several stores and small shops. There is a drugstore just 4 minutes away, and if you want to eat something, the Bom Sucesso Market is just 5 minutes away from the residence. The post office is in the Rotunda da Boavista, and there is a health center just 5 minutes away, in Rua 15 de Novembro.
What does my room include?
In the study you will find a bed, storage space, desk and chair, closet, fully-equipped kitchen (inducton hobs, microwave, fridge and extractor). Twin studios are eqiopped with kitchenette (fridge, microwave grill), private ensuite bathroom, 2 individual beds, 2 closets, and a desk with 2 spaces for study and two chairs, wi fi, and TV.

Can my visitors/guests have access to the common areas?
Yes, except for the gym, pool and library wich are exclusive for residents.

Can I take the furniture out and use my own?
It is not possible to remove the furniture with which the room is equipped, but you may bring small auxiliary furniture or equipment, provided that it does not obstruct the entrance or exit to the room, the cleaning of the room or that it may cause damage to the wall and floor.
Can I book a studio only as a student?
In Livensa Living we welcome any member of the educational community 16 years of age and up, that is attenidng university, professional studies, etc.
What is not included in the price?
The self-service laundry. - Photocopier and printer service. - Car and motorbike parking (with the exception of Pamplona, Lisbon Marquês de Pombal, Barcelona Diagonal Alto and Barcelona Marina which do not have them). - Kitchenware.
Can I stay for the summer?
Yes, you can stay during the summer. In case your contract has ended, you can extend your stay. We recommend you book as soon as possible to keep tha room you already have.
Can I bring guests and stay overnight?
Yes, during the night you can have one (1) overnight guest .You have 10 nights available per month to use with whoever you want, for more information ask the front desk.
Is there a printing service in the residence?
There is a printer and photocopier in the building. You can buy your print credit and use the machine through an app.
What security measures are in place?
For the safety of our residents, our buildings are equipped with an electronic lock system and interphones. During the night and weekends, we have a security guard, and our staff is fully trained in first aid and fire drills, reacting correctly and rapidly in case of emergency.
Do you offer sports activities?
We do. Sports activities are included in pur Community Life program once a week, and the activity changes every month.
Is there air conditioning in the rooms?
There is a cooling and heating system in every room. During the summer months we enable the cooling system and heating during winter.
What are disciplinary letters?
In the give situation of not complying with the disciplinary code, the staff can send a written warning to you informing about the fault made, with the possible sanctions that, in the given case, might apply. Please read the Code of Conduct for more information.
What rental items are available?
In the front desk of the building you'll find a list of all the available articles, some of them have a price and some are free.
Can I receive parcels?
Our personnel will receive standard-sized parcels everyday. We will notify you when something arrives for you.
Are there basements or storage rooms?
At Livensa Living unfortunately we do not have storage rooms due to lack of space.
Can I smoke in the room?
Smoking is not allowed inside the premises, neither in common areas and inside the rooms. The buildings have a designated smoking area outside.
What do I do if something in my room is not working?
We have a maintenance team ready to fix all problems. You have to notify through the Livensa Portal so that Livensa Living has proof of the incident and give permission to the maintenance team to enter your room and fix the problem.
Can I have my groceries or other orders shipped to the facility?
You can send every parcel you want to Livensa, except supermarket and food deliveries, which has to be you the one receiving them.
Will I have internet via wifi?
Yes, we do have wifi enabled in alll areas of the building, you'll never run out of data! Plus, in your room you'll have broadband internat via cable. All included in the price!
Is there 24-hour security at the residences?
Yes, our personnel is available during the day, and at night, we have a concierge. We also have 24-hour, 7 days a week camera circuit.
Are there timetables for entering and leaving Livensa Living?
We have electronic access all through our facilities and your room, you'll only need your card to access Livensa Living whenever you want, the schedule is yours!
Can I bring my pet?
We love animals, but due to the available space in our buildings, and for consideration with other people culture, traditions and religious beliefs, we don't admit company animals (except service dogs).
What do I do if something breaks in my room?
Through your Livensa Portal you can notify of any maintenance issues. You can also notify the front desk of the building so that they can take immediate action and solve any maintenance problem if applicable.
Can my guests spend the night in my room?
Each Livensa Living resident has 10 nights per month to use. The first 3 nights are free of charge, but from the 4th to the 10th night there is an extra charge. Contact the residence for more information on prices and rates.

What is the closest public transport stop to Livensa Living Granada Fuentenueva?
The Granada train station is only 7 minutes walking distance from the residence. There are also several bus stops nearby, one of them right outside the residence.
What is the reservation fee?
The booking fee is payable as soon as you sign the contract and includes the costs of preparing the contract and the guarantee of the room. The reservation fee for admission is € 250.
What documents do I need for check-in?
If you're a European Union citizen, you will only have to bring a national identity document or passport. If you're from outside the European Union, you will have to bring your passport and valid visa.
When and how can I settle in?
You can move as soon as the contract is signed, and we have received the payment, and of course, as soon as the date of your contract starts. You can book the move-in day through our Livensa Portal here: https://portal.livensaliving.com/
What payments do I have to make before I check in?
The accommodation initial payment will be charged once the contract is signed. Before the start date of your stay, you have to transfer the deposit and first months' rent. You'll find all the payment information in our payment platform, Flywire.

When will my deposit be returned?
The return of the deposit can take up to 45 days. Reimbursement of the deposit is managed as soon as the room inspection is completed and signed off, and you comply with the contract. Things like international transfers, or type of credit/debit card of the client might delay some reimbursements.

What is the price to book a room?
The price varies according to the duration of the lease and the type of room.
How can I cancel my parking slot contract?
If you have a parking contract related to your accommodation booking, it will automatically be ended at the same time the contract ends. In this case, you will not have to dio anything and the terms and conditions of the lease will be applied. If you have an independent parking lease, you will have to contact your building's staff.
How are rooms allocated?
Your preference is very important to us, so that you feel comfortable. In your reservation process you can tell us your preferences regarding room location (floor, near a friend, etc), when we're sorting out rooms, our team will try to make sure your request is met, but we can't make any promises.
Do I get a discount if I pay for my entire stay in one payment?
No, there is no discount.
How can I book my room?
It's as easy as following the steps trough our website! In case you book a visit to any of our buildings and you make a decision, our staff will help you to make the booking.
How far in advance do I have to book the room?
It's best if you make it as soon as possible so you're able to choose the room you want. We don't have any specific date for you to make the booking, it is up to you, but keep in mind prices might have variations. Be careful and don't stay out!
What happens if I have a room booked but have not been granted a visa or have been refused a place at the university?
If you have not obtained the necessary visa or have been denied a place at the university, you can cancel the reservation free of charge, but you will have to provide us with proof of this. For the visa, proof that it has been denied and in case of denial of the place, you will have to prove that you do not have a spot at the university you were applying for or that you are studying in another...

What rental periods are available and what is the minimum rental period?
The minimum stay period is 7 days and the maximum is 364 days. The stay ends on 27 August for full year bookings and 31 August for academic year and semester bookings. If you wish to stay longer, you also have the option to extend your stay.
Can I change studios?
It is possible to change your room given a previous notice to the staff, as long as there is availability.
Can I extend my lease?

You have the option of cancelling your lease once it's signed, but take into account that it might have a cancellation fee, according to the time of the cancellation. What is a SEPA direct debit mandate?
The SEPA Direct Debit Mandate allows you to set up one-time or recurring payments directly from your account without any extra fees. Available across all Eurozone countries, this payment method can be authorized either as a one-time transaction or on an ongoing basis by the account holder, who can cancel it at any time.
I do not yet have a SEPA-enabled account. What should I do?
The SEPA document will be given to you when you move in. All you have to do is fill in this form with all your bank details and give it to the residence hall staff at the reception desk.
I have transferred more than I should have done, how do I proceed?
In this case, we will apply the overpaid amount to your next monthly payment. If we have a valid SEPA Direct Debit mandate, we will process the corresponding charge.
International bank transfer
In case you will be transferring money from international bank acounts, you need to take into account any extra comissions that might come up, this comissions are usually related to exchange rates, and transfer fees, and in general, this comissions are established by your bank. This additional expenses will have to be covered by you, and added to your tranfer's total amount, or the comissions...
When will I get my deposit back?
In general, it takes 45 days to get your deposit back. If your room is left in perfect conditions, and there is no fault in the lease compliance, we can proceed much faster with reimbursement, but keep in mind some factors might affect the time it takes to transfer it back, specially international bank accounts, or the type of credit/debit card provided by the client.
How and when do I pay my rent?
The deposit and first month's rent will have to be done with a minimum of 45 days before the start of your stay. The rest of the payments will be made the first day of the month through SEPA or our Flywire platform.
